It was old folks night at the Brandon amphitheater theater this past Tuesday. But James Taylor packed them in. And he gave an incredibly professional performance. Voice is still clear as a bell and strong. Backup musicians were top notch. It was really a very professional performance, mostly the old stuff. What is it about brilliant musicians that they usually write their best work early in their career? Crowd sang along with many songs, especially "Shower The People" and "Fire and Rain." JT's youngest son was one of the backup vocalists. He sounds just like dad! Super high definition stage video really enhanced the show. Made it seem like you were on the front row even when sitting in nosebleed section.
