Going green on my sailboat motor.

Now my sailing is totally green. And electric motor and wind energy. That being said doing, it had nothing to do with my being green. It had to do with the unreliability of my gas engine. Because I only sail intermittently, the gas engine would be often and hard to crank creating a lot of stress when going out there especially with friends. The new electric motor seems to be much more reliable on start.

Voltage display

48 volt lithium battery last one hour. Should last ten years. Only takes 5 minutes to get out of the harbor. This $400 compact battery replaces four daisy chained 12 volt batteries.
