The Mississippi Department of Transportation is improving a two-mile section of Lakeland Drive, which is also designated as Mississippi Highway 25.
A mill, overlay and concrete rehabilitation of the roadway from near St. Dominic Hospital to the Rankin County line is underway, said Michael Flood, spokesman for MDOT.
