Covenant Presbyterian Church choir this morning sang a beautiful rendition of the Majesty and Glory of Your Name, an outstanding religious anthem based on Psalm 8.
The choir is led by Stephen and Carolyn Sachs, who were long time affiliated with Belhaven University's music program.
The Northside is blessed to have hundreds of outstanding choirs led by thousands of individuals who dedicate their time and effort to spiritually uplift others. The Covenant choir is such a gift.

Today is my 44th birthday, and I thank God for all the many blessings He has provided me with over the course of my life. I welcome another year, and I intend to make the most of it. The older you get, it seems the more appreciative you are for the days and people you are provided with in life.
We kept it simple this year with the celebrations. A nice dinner with my husband Jason and our three kids was all I requested.

We mourn the passing of an incredible community servant, a dedicated civic leader and a contagious personality that left everyone in his path happier after speaking with him.
The sudden passing of banking leader Phil Williams is a difficult one for us to cover at The Herald. He was such a force within our local community and beyond. And we offer prayers to his family and loved ones during this time.
